About Educational Talent Search
Educational Talent Search, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, identifies and assists students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education. SLU's goal is to increase the number of these students who complete high school as well as enroll in and complete postsecondary educational credentials.
In addition to endless encouragement, Educational Talent Search provides participants with academic, career and financial counseling. We educate students and families about the availability of financial aid and assist with the application process for both financial aid and postsecondary opportunities.
Educational Talent Search also encourages people who have not completed educational programs at the secondary or postsecondary level to reenter the educational pipeline and complete postsecondary educational credentials.
