Pacific leaders serve Stockton, Sacramento and Bay Area communities

Nader Nadershahi, dean of the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and San Francisco Campus Provost, helps strengthen Bay Area bonds as a board member of two influential organizations: the and .

鈥淲e ask our students, residents and graduates to be leaders鈥搕o help shape the future of our profession and society,鈥� Nadershahi said. 鈥淚t is important for us to walk the talk and inspire others through our work and personal examples of leadership. In serving our local, state and national communities, we also bring back many benefits to the people and programs at the Dugoni School of Dentistry and Pacific more broadly.鈥�

First Lady Jean Callahan also is active with membership on the and . Her work with the Miracle Mile鈥攁 historic district just south of Pacific鈥檚 Stockton Campus鈥攈as helped strengthen the bond between The Mile and university.

鈥淭here are so many great opportunities for collaboration and partnerships between the university and the Stockton community,鈥� Jean Callahan said. 鈥淭his work enhances offerings for our students and employees.鈥�

Mary Lomax-Ghirarduzzi, vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion, is a board member of , which brings together technology leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and educational institutions through a variety of programs and initiatives in the areas of health care, agri-business and sustainable construction technology. She also is a commissioner for the and a board member on the .
