The new SLUCare medical building, known as the , will open its doors to patients on Monday, Aug. 31.
The state-of-the-art facility is an outpatient hub for SLUCare’s primary care providers and specialists. It is located on Grand Blvd., beside the new SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, which opens its doors on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
New Patient Care Offices
The Center for Specialized Medicine will house SLUCare providers’ offices which were formerly in the Doctors Office Building on Vista Ave., Salus Center on Lafayette Ave., or in the SSM Health ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø Hospital - South Campus building on Grand Blvd. at Interstate 44.
New Academic Offices
The SLUCare Academic Pavilion, formerly the Imagine School Building, is the new building for physician academic offices. The address is 1008 S. Spring Ave.
Academic departments moved into the facility over the summer. The facility now houses offices for physicians in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Family and Community Medicine, Neurology, Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Health Information Management.
Drummond Hall is home to offices for Surgery - Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Anesthesiology and SLUCare IT Training.
ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø University and SLUCare announced the names for these two facilities in March. The names were selected after extensive input and a community survey, which included SLUCare patients and family members among the respondents.

SLUCare physicians are among the most highly trained in their fields – more than 50 specialties in all – and are national and international experts, renowned for research and innovations in medicine.
