As the practice of law is becoming increasingly global, law students and attorneys with intercultural competency skills and international legal practice experience are in high demand.
The internships that the Center for International and Comparative Law arranges after the Summer Law Program in Madrid provide students the opportunity to gain meaningful international legal practice experience and to improve their intercultural competency skills.
The Center places students at a variety of law firms and non-for-profit organizations in Europe. As we tailor the internship search to fit our students' interests, we have found new placements each year.
Recent placements have included:
- AEROIURIS Abogados (Madrid, Spain)
- Airbus (Toulouse, France)
- Bernard-Hertz-B茅jot (Paris, France)
- Broseta (Madrid, Spain)
- De Cambra Abogados (Madrid, Spain)
- FPS Rechtsanw盲lte (Hamburg, Germany)
- JAUSAS (Madrid and Barcelona, Spain)
- Mason Hayes & Curran (Dublin, Ireland)
- Reprieve (London, United Kingdom)
The internship placements are available to students who are in good standing and have completed at least one year of legal education. Students who are formally pursuing a concentration in international and comparative law will be given priority for placements.
