COVID-19 Update: General Guidances for Campus, Summer Session
June 7, 2021
Dear SLU community:
I hope you are having a successful start to the summer, picking back up on the activities that bring you joy.
Late last week, I shared two new guidances with members of the University Leadership Council about summer sessions here on campus, and what to expect for those who are working, living, learning or visiting our St. Louis campuses during the summer months. Now, I am sharing those guidances with you.
- Working, living, learning or visiting our St. Louis campuses. This guidance closely follows the details I shared inmy May 19 message with the campus.
- Summer session guidance
These new COVID-19 prevention guidances will help us have a successful summer together as we regain some sense of normalcy. Both sets of guidelines are broad and encompassing and therefore don鈥檛 speak to unique circumstances or situations. We expect to make revisions as common issues arise that require additional direction.
In addition, please do not project the unique provisions of the Summer Guidance to be the COVID-prevention measures we will utilize for the upcoming Fall Semester.
Please know that guidelines specific to on-campus events and return-to-work are in development, and we will distribute those as soon as we are able.
In the meantime, I hope the above guidances give you better clarity for the summer months when on our St. Louis campuses.
