Programs
Those newer to teaching may find our Certificate Program helpful in understanding foundational aspects of effective teaching, and those newer to the context of Jesuit education may be interested in our Ignatian Pedagogy Academy. More experienced instructors interested in experimenting with new approaches may find our Online Teaching Certificate and our Ignatian Teaching Fellowship particularly appealing. Faculty who teach high concentrations of international students may be interested joining a future offering of the Culturally Responsive Teaching Institute. Additionally, we regularly offer courses in distance teaching to support faculty who teach online. Finally, faculty who are preparing for tenure and/or promotion may be interested in attending our annual Academic Portfolio Retreat, which helps faculty generate and shape material for effective presentation in academic dossiers.
