SLU Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator Sara Rae Womack recently directed "Anything Goes" for Kirkwood Theatre Guild, which ran May 10-19, 2024 at the Robert G. Reim Theatre in Kirkwood, Missouri. This show marks Womack鈥檚 directorial debut. KTG has been designated a Missouri Historical Theatre by the Missouri Arts Council, in honor of their 93 years producing high-quality community theater. Sophomore Theatre Major Colleen Dundon also served the production as assistant director.

Colleen used this opportunity to take an Internship for the Honors Program.  In her reflection, she notes "I had a wonderful time working with everyone at Kirkwood Theater Guild. I got to make meaningful suggestions to the show and think about the ways that I will be able to hone my craft in theater production! I am exponentially more interested in directing after this experience and I can鈥檛 wait until I can work on another show in a similar capacity."
