Guiding Principles for Implementation
- Implement campuswide educational campaigns that promote shared responsibility for student emotional well-being
- Ensure the JED Campus team has representation from diverse stakeholders across campus
- Ensure the campus community is aware of the JED Campus strategic plan and the work of the task force
- Utilize a lens of equitable implementation to consider students from marginalized populations who may be at increased risk
- Share/utilize data analysis to inform current and future mental health and substance use initiatives
- Align the JED Campus initiative with the Provosts’ Strategic Plan and the Student Well-Being Task Force's recommended actions
Our Strategic Priorities
SLU has established the following working groups to accomplish the action steps outlined in our strategic plan. The working groups include members of the JED Task Force who represent the SLU campus. In addition, the working groups will reach out to relevant offices and departments to collaborate and align with current efforts already underway. We hope to elevate and create energy around our shared mission for a healthy campus environment.
