Student Well-being Task Force
Consistent with our Jesuit values, 老司机福利网 is committed to the well-being of all our students. Well-being is fundamental to cura personalis and is an essential aspect of student success. During the 2021-2022 academic year, a Student Well-being Task Force will assess SLU's health and well-being ecosystem for students and develop recommendations to advance a culture of well-being for all students.
The Student Well-being Task Force is comprised of students, faculty, and staff from across the University and from a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise. Throughout the 2021-2022 academic year, the group will assess SLU鈥檚 health and well-being ecosystem for students, develop and understanding of how SLU鈥檚 ecosystem aligns with evidence-based effective practices, and explore actions that can create a culture of well-being for all students. While the Task Force will focus exclusively on student well-being, we anticipate the work will also have implications for future initiatives focused on staff and faculty well-being.
The Task Force will take a broad approach to their work, considering data, assessing existing resources, learning about national trends and effective practices, and exploring the ways in which policies and practices can contribute to or inhibit student well-being.
By the end of this academic year, the Task Force will develop a set of recommendations, in collaboration with the campus community, to inform the creation of a Student Well-being Strategic Roadmap for the University.
