Established in 1977, the ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø School of Medicine Clinical Skills Center (C.S.C.) is one of the first in the United States. This space is dedicated to medical student education and professional development.
The C.S.C. supports medical students in developing the history-taking, physical examination, communication, and clinical judgment skills required for their success as physicians. We serve faculty and other health care educators in conceptualizing and designing educational programs that support students’ professional development. Additionally, we interface with the Saint Louis community for the recruitment and training of standardized patients (SPs) for patient portrayals and teaching of interpersonal and communication skills.
