Practice Areas
My research focuses on film exhibition (film events and film festivals in particular) and subcultural film audiences. I have conducted longitudinal research on different film festivals and film events across Spain. My latest work involves the study of female participation in horror film events, and the study of collective film viewing practices in rural areas.
