Fall Welcome for Transfer Students
Fall Welcome at SLU isn’t just for incoming freshman students. Multiple programs during Fall Welcome are designed specifically for transfer students to meet one another and to learn about SLU. You can look forward to meeting your transfer mentors, finding your footing through the transfer student orientation, and enjoying the transfer student "cook in," as you start to find your place at SLU.
Transfer Students’ Frequently Asked Questions
The best way to register for classes is to attend one the SLU 101 Transfer sessions. If you are unable to attend a SLU 101 session, contact your admissions
counselor.
Most first- and second-year students at SLU are required to live on campus, including transfer students. The time you've spent attending another university is considered when determining if you fall under the residency requirement. Learn more about housing options at SLU.
First, attend the SLU Involvement Fair during Fall Welcome. Many student organizations and campus departments will be on hand to help you get involved and find your niche on campus. You can also explore student organizations through , and connect with the community through the Department of Campus Ministry and the Center for Social Justice.
