Business for Others
The newly established Ignatian Service Fellowship, created for passionate students with a demonstrated commitment to service and social action, provides a world-class business education combined with opportunities to affect positive change in the St. Louis community.
Eligibility
The Ignatian Service Fellowship is available to students admitted to the One-Year MBA program who have completed a full term of volunteer service as a member of Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC), Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest (JVC NW), Catholic Volunteer Network, AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, Teach for America or other approved volunteer service programs prior to enrollment. There is no fee to apply to the program and fellows are automatically considered for GMAT waivers. Undergraduate background in business is not required.
About the Fellowship
- $20,000 tuition scholarship to the Chaifetz School鈥檚 One-Year MBA program
- Guaranteed graduate internship with the Habitat for Neighborhood Business or CSB Service Leadership program ($4,800 for 10 hours of work per week during fall and spring semesters)
- Business consulting project as part of program curriculum focused on nonprofit organization or community issue
- Ignatian Service Fellows may also be eligible for additional competitive donor scholarships available from the Chaifetz School of Business. Learn more
